ergonomically optimized workspace
This project is developed in ENSCI les ateliers, Paris. The key words that could define this project are : customization, ergonomics, structural optimization, and computer-aided manufacturing. It is a online service, with user-friendly interface, where each user can create an office desk that is fully adjusted to his own personal habits and ergonomy. The user sits in front of Kinect 3d scanner, and defines a desired surface by moving his hands. He can also choose materials and colour. Once the choice is made, the signal is sent directly to the computer-navigated machines, so the whole fabrication process is automatic.
eo chair
The concept of this chair begins with a simple branching of legs. Further on everything else is a simple combinatory and sensibility. The legs are integrated with back for back and hands and together they form a stable unit. They are all connected with parallel frames, which, viewed laterally, intersect mutually. By conceptual design it is anticipated that a chair should be made of solid wood - oak or beech - with the possible incorporation of inorganic materials such as plastic or finishing of certain segments with polyurethane paint in order to get this effect. In that case, paint would be inflicted on the back of the seating plate. Different changes of angles by which frames spread and by their interconnection, the new character of a chair can be created and thus the whole family of chairs can be created and that without disturbing the initial principle.
wing table
is a table with changeable length of the worktop. It consists of the lateral frames, legs, fixed central board and two wings independent boards. Pulling out and rotating these wings, table extension can be achieved. When dismantling the table, one pulls out the wing horizontally to the front and by shaft, which passes through it, it slides in channels in the lateral frames. Then the wing is rotated around the shaft for 180 degrees and the wing is retracted vertically to the back. The table worktop is made of medium-density fibreboard (MDF) and the frame is made of oak-tree.
sedy lezy
is a furniture concept that has a double usage function. It consists of four pillows and two belts. When one arranges pillows side by side in vertical position, pillows can be fixed with belts to form the sitting position. When one lays them horizontally and arranges them properly, pillows also form the bed. Belts are connected to each other into one big belt, which is used to fix pillows. Graphic presentation of the bed may have several versions depending on the way in which pillows are arranged. Pillows are stuffed with molten sponge and coated with artificial leather. It is ideal for smaller and multi-functional spaces.
dallas
Dallas: the preliminary design that won the first prize in the competition of this Company, for the design of the hotel room. The furniture is intended for the low cost production that implies laminated materials from univer or plywood.
sofa
Such sofa presents a furniture concept with double usage function. The basic position is intended for sitting and it is transformed in the bed by simple unbuttoning the bands on the lateralsides of the backrest. In the area of the backrest, sofa is coated with cloth with slightly elastic property for the sake of easier bending and protection against wearing of the backrest during the transformation.
