FABelgrade 2016 is the 1st conference in Serbia and the region dedicated to promotion of digital fabrication and fab lab concept and their application in various fields. The conference will consist of hands-on workshops and 1 day with lectures from leading fabrication experts from around the world.

Digital Fabrication and Entrepreneurship Course Petnica Science Center, Valjevo, Serbia

As part of a grant from the Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade and as one of the first members of organisation Fab Initiative, developed the full course curriculum and held several sessions about 3D printing technologies, 3D printer components, CAD 3D modeling and post-processing of printed models. Assisted as part of the “Open-source electronics” (Arduino and Raspberry Pi) and “Basics of Entrepreneurship” workshops.

 

Petnica is a science center and the biggest independent nonprofit organization for extracurricular, informal science education in South Eastern Europe since 1982. Petnica has organized more than 2,500 programs (seminars, workshops, research camps…) for nearly 50,000 students and science teachers in 15 disciplines of science, technology and humanities.

3D printing and rapid prototyping workshops for Nova Iskra Design Incubator, Belgrade, Serbia

In cooperation with Polyhedra Fab Lab, Serbia, developed the curriculum and led a series of workshops that included a theoretical introduction into rapid-prototyping and 3D printing technologies, and a practical part with CAD 3D modelling prep, model reparation, cleaning and post-processing of printed models.

 

Nova Iskra is the leading design incubator in the South Eastern Europe. Nova Iskra focuses on managing design and innovation in order to discover new values in the fields of creative business, education, social improvement and empowerment of local communities.

Oversaw the end-to-end process of prototype and product development, from requirements gathering to final fabrication. Including sketching, 3D modelling, engineering, rendering and 3D printing.

 

Voxellab is a rapid-prototyping and design studio located in Belgade, Serbia. Worked as part of a 5-person team consisting of software engineering, designers and 3D artists.
